So I started with a 9 on kaplan diagnostic verbal, I just took a full length (just verbal section) from a full lenght exam and got a 10. When I look at the answer choices upon grading myself, I have to say sometimes I disagree with the explanation they have given, or I dont feel like it rules out my answer. I did try and follow the tips given in the above section about actively asking yourself what is the authors point, and why it is being written. I do think it helps so thank you (from the MCAT question section). How difficult is it to bring my verbal up a few? I hope by continuous practicing I will be able to totally focus. I found drifting off at all during reading a passage is when I mess things up.
Is now till August 19th a good enough time to bring that up on the real deal? I was never the best when it came to vocabulary (ie GRE big words), but I was always a lot better on the comprehension/passage based questions.
