They may have emailed me because I told them that I would be at my permanent address until 1/3, then back to my current address and since I was notified on 1/4, they probably thought it was best to just email me.

I am pretty nervous and don't really feel prepared for it...don't really know what to expect. I am staying at the AmericInn...my parents decided that they wanted a little vacation, so we are all driving together from Indiana...lol (a little embarrassing, but I am kinda glad they are going, they can keep down my nerves)

I am also staying there!! I think that I would rather have my parents going with me than going by myself!! My dad paid for a friend to go with me for my Ohio interview last month, but I couldn't ask anyone to go this time because I have to miss 2 days of school. Finally I'm on the board with something!! Monday I got put on the alternate list for Cornell (which I take is as good as a rejection for an in-stater) and rejected from VA-MD. Then yesterday I woke up puking my guts out from some nasty bug, which caused me to get an expensive parking ticket because I couldn't move my car for alternate side parking. Hi ShelterGirl,

Congratualations on the IL interview. I have been interested in your application progress because I am currently getting a MBA in management part-time and I read that you already have your MBA. I am interested in how the business degree help/hurt the application process. I am in-state for IL, but also applied to Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn and Missouri. I was rejected by Missouri, but have interviews at IL and Iowa. My undergraduate GPA is 3.2 but with the MBA coursework it is now 3.35. My science GPA is only 3.0. Last 30 credits GPA is 3.7. My GRE is 1290 (Q: 750; V 540). IL being my state school is my top choice. My experience is in lab animal/basic science research (2000+ hours); small animal (130 hours); zoo (40 with zoo vet and 130 hours+ as a zoo docent).
