Wow...I just got my snail-mail RSVP form today. I sent the form they put in the e-mail a week or two ago, because I was getting nervous about the snail mail form not arriving. And now I just realized I may have to change the date.

I am at home in CA until Sunday when I head back to school in PA. My school isn't forwarding mail this week so taht it doesn't end up here when I'm back there. That's all nice and lovely...except for the fact that I want to know about WSU and Purdue interviews! Arghhhh. Oh well, I guess I will just have to be patient and pray I have good news when I arrive on campus Sunday night :)

Me too! I'm in Connecticut and heading back to school sunday night as well... my school isn't forwarding ail this week either... i am so hoping there will be something from tufts and/or penn when i get back. I think my first stop on my way to my apartment will be the campus mailroom!

I am in CA and I found out I was waitlisted for an interview at Tufts today. Has anyone heard of this situation before? I haven't come across this in past SDN posts, and I am not sure if anyone actually gets interviews off of a waitlist. It feels like a rejection with an asterisk and maybe a grinning smiley face, knowing he is keeping you up at night for no good reason, but that may just be me. Thoughts anyone?

I think I heard of this situation way back when. If enough people who were offered interviews either withdraw their applications (or interview REALLY badly, I suppose), and spots open up, you may get added in. It might feel like being someone's understudy, but it's better than being outright rejected.

You posted that you're OOS but got an interview at CSU. You also posted that you got accepted to CSU. I'm a tad confused. Can you clarify which it is?:confused:
 
I'm waitlisted for an interview at Tufts too. Tufts is one of my top two choices. So, if anyone wants to decline their interview - please do so :p

Sorry!! I'm new to this forum (clearly). I apologize for the confusion. I was accepted. No interview. Didn't mean to post in the interviews thread. All the excitement got the pea brain a litte crosswired.:p

Congrats to everybody! Still waiting to hear from 3 more schools myself...

Not such hot news from Tufts... I called today to "make sure they received my fall transcript" (not the reason I called at ALL) and slipped in at the end, "Oh by the way, I was curious to know if you've sent out interview invites yet" (even though I obviously knew that they had) and the reply was that they have , but they aren't all finished yet (Good news). Bad news is that they aren't sending out rejections until next week... so we haven't heard from Tufts because either
a. USPS SUCKS
b. They haven't sent it yet
c. They haven't sent the REJECTION letter yet
Sorry for the crummy news, but I thought I'd distribute the stress :scared:

P.S.- Just so I can drive myself even more crazy, have any of you that got the interview invited checked the status page? I was just wondering if they list the interview there or not, since mine still says "your admissions decision will be posted here when it is available." Also, I'm wondering if that message still being there means that I haven't been rejected? Anyone else care to speculate with me? I figure it's a better way to pass the time than biting my nails down even further!
 
I remember that the status page never changed last year until final admissions decisions were made in March...then you knew to check it b/c they sent you an email that decisions had been posted.

not sure if this makes a difference for any of you stalking your mailmen for tufts letters, but mine was sent to my permenant address, not my current one- so i got a phone call from parents instead of the letter
