Nobody really cares about what skills one has for manual dexterity, everything in dentistry could be learned. I basically have 2 left thumbs and I do fine as a dentist.

I don't think adcoms consider gaming as a means of hand-eye coordination. Which is a shame because you can get pretty good with it. I would just mention it if they ask about what you like to do for fun.

I think many of the dental educators I know agree with this with a condition... the skills are less important than the persistence to master the skills.

People say it doesn’t matter, but when I graduated from dental school - 1/4 of my classmates preps looked jagged as heck. I wouldn’t want to be their first real patient. Lol
