MCAT expiration

Hi guys, need a quick confirmation:

I took my MCAT in January of this year, and am going to be applying to an SMP for Fall '15, and will be applying to MD programs for Fall '17.

Would my MCAT be good to go for that?
The schools I'm interested in all maintain that they accept MCAT grades for 3 years, however, do they count the months? (Jan '14 to Aug '17 is more than 3 years technically)

Some schools still don't accept the current MCAT for the 2016 cycle. Be careful where you apply.
