I'm interested in applying to schools this cycle but dont know if I should wait to take the mcat in early 2013 or take it in september of this year?? Will rushing to take it and possibly scoring lower hurt me more than waiting to take it and scoring hopefully higher but getting my application in later? Everything else in is line except the MCAT... Thanks

If I were in your position I would take a practice exam and see how I was scoring. If I scored in a range that would be competitive I would start studying and practicing for September. By applying early it may increase your chances to get in. You can also take the MCAT again if you do terrible.
