Is it bad to say that I was influenced by an MD who followed a holistic approach, to pursue a DO? I've shadowed an MD but he literally followed most of the DO philosophy of treating patients as a whole person and the self-healing/self-regulating ability of the body. He worked at an integrative medicine clinic so his approach was all about relying on preventative methods and being holistic in treatments. I've been mentioning his influence on my decision for pursing a DO in my secondaries. Do you guys think that's okay to say?

I will say some schools will required DO letters but most are fine as long as you can talk about what a DO is
