Recently i was asked for $100 from the board of PMR. They said that i need to pay yearly as part of my maintenance of certification(MOC). She said if i didnt, i would not be able to recertify after 10 years, and i would lose both my specialty as well as subspecialty. When did this happen? I feel like im being extorted!!!! If i would have known, i would have weighed this before i chose my specialty. Of course it doesnt apply to those older docs grandfathered in. Anyone else know about this?
