Is post radiofrequency neurotomy neuritis (the transient dysesthesia lasting a few weeks after RFA) the same as anesthesia dolorosa?

My understanding is anesthesia dolorsa is generally considered a malignant long term pain issue. The issues we see after RFA are short term.

My minimally educated answer is no, they are different entities possibly along the same spectrum. That's just my 2c

They are not the same for the reasons that you gave.
