Dr. Nika rocks...my experience with the previous UNLV pre-med advisor was not nearly as productive.

I took several science courses at CSN a decade or so ago. I got a lot out of them (chem I and II, ochem I and II, micro), and really enjoyed the professors and lab instructors. I will be retaking those courses due to their age.

If you are looking at UNLV for pre-med, Dr. Nika is the right start, from everything I can determine. The "non-trad" pre-med course plan he laid out for me is hairy, but do-able.
