Rescheduling Interviews

So here's the deal...I called earlier today and scheduled my interview at SLU for Monday, December 22nd. The problem is that I just found out I can't use my frequent flyer miles those days (since its so close to Christmas...greedy airlines ). Needless to say I'd rather not pay for a ticket, especially during the holiday season. Do you think it would look bad if I called tomorrow to reschedule sometime in January?

I dont think its a problem. You can certainly claim family obligations which is very understandable during the holiday season. Additionally, most schools understand the applicants may be reluctant to travel during that week. I would also check to see if SLU is still in session or have MSI's gone home. Of course delaying your interview can delay potential acceptances... so keep that in mind..
