Well, I wouldn't say its THAT unprofessional. I think I'd probably stay in a motel the first night, and if you like the guy and you guys get buddy buddy, then maybe sure, that's fine. Hopefully nothing creepy goin on there. Its weird. in rural america, i'd feel that's normal. in city america, someones sleepin with someone. lol

I think there's better and easier ways of finding some strange. To me this just seems like hospitality. But yea the motel thing is a good idea Alejandro.

A man (whom you hardly know) offers you his place to stay as you cross borders to shadow him (something that you could do in your own backyard). Sorry, but I don't like the sound of it. Rethink that plan but if you decide to go through with it, I highly recommend staying at a motel. Think of the motel costs as another investment to your career, much like MCAT prep courses.
