You still haven't fixed the fundamental issue, which is that you aren't doing well in school. Jumping into an SMP right now would be sealing your academic coffin. Get straight A's for a few semesters before even thinking about an SMP. You have to first prove to yourself that you'll be able to handle med school by doing well in your classes. THEN you'll know that your record isn't representative of your potential, and you can start proving it to others with things like the MCAT or an SMP. You should definitely retake any science classes that you got a C or lower in, as this will help both your MD and DO GPA's the most.
