Is anyone applying TX A&M? I'm out of state and got a letter from them before the holidays telling me my application is still under review and they would get back to me soon. That was over a month ago! And I have tried to no avail to contact the admissions office, I can't even get anyone on the phone!

Just wondering if anyone knows what is going on.....

Call the Dean's Office (979-845-5051) and ask for Yolanda Melendez. She should be able to let you know the status of this year's selection process.

i just received a packet in the mail today and i've been accepted as an out-of-state applicant! :) the letter was dated january 17.

very cool, do you plan on going there? I'm guessing you're waiting on Davis?

Congrats!!!!

thanks!!!
i'm still waiting to hear from davis and penn, but the fact that
they've offered me a scholarship with in-state tuition makes
it very appealing.

i received my undergraduate degree at UCSD. how about yourself?
are you planning on visiting the campus at some point? i've tried calling
their admissions office for information but they haven't been answering
the phone.

I'll be visiting on the 27th. You should definitely go visit! Its pretty impressive as I remember it, but that was 6 years ago.... If you call Yolanda Brinkman, her number should be on your letter, she is very helpful. Although an email might get you a faster response. Good luck!!

p.s., sorry about messing up your name:)
