I know the Tulane waitlist is unranked, but does anyone have any more info on it? How many people are accepted from the waitlist or what fraction of waitlisters are typically accepted?
I don't think we do. I definitely don't know. They interview around 900 and send out 400 acceptances. I'm assuming the 400 figure is before the first day of class. They AMCAS policy they should have at least send out acceptances totalling their class size (155). So...245 are removed from the acceptable range list.
The best we can do is send updates and additional LORs and continue to wait until May...when most movement occurs.
That's not right...245 people are not removed from the waitlist. I'm sure they initially send out twice as many acceptances than their class size. Maybe around 100 people are removed from the waitlist. I don't believe they send out post-interview rejections initially.
