UWorld vs Kaplan Qbank score discrepancy

So I'm 1/3 done with UW and I'm scoring in the 75-80% range, and the questions seem relatively easy compared to step 1. Decided to try out Kaplan's qbank and am scoring in the low 50's and the questions seem difficult. Anyone have a similar experience? I thought UW was supposed to be harder? I'm trying to decide what to focus more on. It seems like I have more to learn from Kaplan based on difficulty

Kaplan tests minutia. And while it may seem like the questions are harder, and that you are going to learn more, you really are not while using kaplan. The answer explanations are crap. In UWORLD, while the question may seem easy, you get it right, there answer explanations are much more informative, explaining the information much better, and covering the bread and butter topics.
