Did he tho? Look at New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusets. 60/40 dem/rep split on population, but gerrymandered so all democratic representation

None of these states are gerrymandered. Republican voters are relatively evenly distributed. There is just no way to draw district lines to make a Republican district in any of them.

You are pretty naive how revenue is generated

The Dems/communist Iike you talk a big game how to fund social programs.

Again I ask you. Once you take away 100% assets from the top 0.1% (which lasts as little as 9 months to 2-3 years) to fund the operations of the USA govt.

What is the next step when that money runs dry?

You see Vermont tried a single payor health system. They ran the numbers…guess what they ended up figuring how to fund it..,,take a lucky guess. They ran all their math and in the end they said they needed the common people to pay for it. Because taxing the ultra rich doesn’t get them the budget they needed to fund single payors for a tiny state like Vermont

Imagine trying to fund the entire USA govt.

So what the the next step once you take away all the money from the 0.1%? You roll down the line to the top 1%. Take away all their money? That lasts 1-2 year.

what next? You see it’s trickles down to the common people to have to pay for it

Extra revenue is a nice benefit of extremely punitive taxes on oligarchs, but the primary purpose of such taxes would not be to increase revenue; it would be to make sure there aren't any oligarchs.

That isn’t how gerrymandering works. In fact, it’s an argument against it. Every district could be evenly 60/40 and only represented by one party.

Well that’s not how those punitive taxes are marketed to the general public. Notice the commie wants to impose extra taxes on property worth more than 5 million to fund some social programs.

It’s really an ill conceived propaganda marketing tool. What if he doesn’t generate revenue for these social programs? He’s gonna to have to take the money from somewhere else in the general tax revenue collection pool.

Like I said. I’d like to get rid of the tax benefits of the 1031 exchanges. It would not lead to collapse of real estate investments like the industry wants you to believe.

Yeah started w Texas. No one should be surprised that just like everything else MAGA this one is blowing up in their face.

Aren’t Democrats still playing catch up even with the Virginia results and Florida still in flux?

I wouldn’t call it catch up. I’d call it responding to something Trump started which is certainly overall bad for Americans.

More states need to have nonpartisan districting committees (like the one that California just got rid of) to prevent gerrymandering, which has been a widespread issue for decades (with both parties being very guilty).

Voters ought to choose their politicians, rather than politicians choosing their voters.

Trump applied pressure nationally to redistrict during a non census period. That was widely considered unprecedented.

Boom

It's almost as if he's a ***** who surrounds himself with people who give him bad advice.

Imagine if he'd taken office and done absolutely nothing except close the southern border. No tarrifs, no Iran, no Venezuela, no J6-pardonfest, no Texas-gerrymandering-fight-picking ...

I mean, he'd still be a pedo rapist con man grifter POS but overall things would be pretty good.

It's the story of his life. Snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory, and winning just often enough to set up even bigger losses.
