The socialist wing of the part is gaining strength and momentum so anyone running for national office in a blue state must move left to stay in office. The moderates are being phased out in favor of democrat socialists like AOC and Mandami.

The filibuster in the US Senate requiring 60 votes will be eliminated. Massive tax hikes on those making $400K or more are all but certain. A reduction in the estate tax exemption, Social Security wages being taxed above $250K, massive ACA subsidies vs Medicare for all, a national abortion bill, packing the Supreme Court, an increase in capital gains taxes. etc are all on list for the progressive socialist left. Did I mention giving state hood to Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. so the US senate gets 4 more socialists?

All it will take is 51 Senators, a 1 vote majority in the House plus a Democrat President to accomplish these goals.

Sliwa was never a real threat. Basically a side show. Cuomo was damaged political goods. Can't even understand why he even thought he had a chance.

Free buses and free childcare sound great but will be very expensive to implement.

Honestly, NYC is such an amazing unique city. I visited their with family back in April and had a great time but that's because I had attending money to spend and it made everything very easy.

But the city was incredibly dirty with so much litter. Central Park was in poor condition. A lot of homeless roaming around. Still had a good time but NYC has definitely gotten dirtier from 10 or 15 years prior.

We already know you don't hold maga accountable for anything so if you are proven wrong and the midterms get rigged by Trump et al through illegal mandates, military/ICE intimidation in polling places where democrats vote, lopsided gerrymandering (which was not only started by the Republicans but is being done at a much larger scale by themas well) what recourse will there be for the left then? Zohran said he’d tax millionaires and above. And he’d implement reasonably priced food at city run grocery stores, reasonably priced rent, free and clean buses, and childcare so people can work/chase a career.

People go where the jobs are. It’s the business that leaves that when the dominos start to fall. NYC is the financial capital of the world. It’s not going away and they are banking on that.
