you kids look so young! geesh!....Some of you must have started school in your mom's womb if you guys are already applying to medical school.

Well my mom IS Asian, it's not an option not to start school that early.

actually, I nearly failed 1st grade.
yea I know
I got my butt to working after that 😛

Well that was more a "Woot! I'm gonna be a doctor 😀" I'm very happy about all of my acceptances.

Wow you're 20 and already going to be a Med student? CONGRATS! and I thought I was on the fast track! 🙁

that's the case for most "traditional" students, is it not.

I believe most traditional students are 21 when they apply. Unless most traditional students skipped a grade or graduated early.

There is your answer. Students start college on average at the age of 18 and finish when they are 22, so I assume going to med school at 21 is NOT normal.

ok at the risk of being accused of being a thread hog......already have taken the MCAT...were kind of buds

oh and since you seem to be a Chem major as well.....today was our mole day celebration (at 6:02 on 10/23....yea clever) so HAPPY MOLE DAY!

Tatastrophy, what university do you go to? I'm afraid we might go to the same one... lol... I have Weaver. Does this make any sense to you? Anyways, since you're 22? I'll probably never meet you anyways. 😕

I'm tall, dark, and handsome. You can find me on eHarmony

I used to. He's about 110lb and still growing. I recently trained him to defecate in bushes instead of grass lawns--I'm more popular with the neighbors now.

No one poops that round, evenly and prettily. It looks like pudding if not for the grass.

Not as non-trad as I look, just worn out from the asceticism.

Do you guys think I'll get in?

Ugh I got asked if I am 13 today........try adding 9 to that buddy!
at this point being 30 and not looking my age seems like the promised land.

oh and yea...I just had a Pchem exam and the doctor prescribes rest after such an exertion.
:scared:

That's okay. You're beautiful and you won't complain about looking younger than you are for most of the rest of your life. Though after med school, it might not be the case anymore huh?

More than a little non-traditional... but who wouldn't trust a face like that with their life?

Not to :beat:but seriously, not the best thing to say on the net or in person.

There are at least two 20 year olds in my class. It's pretty obvious who they are, judging by the maturity level difference b/w them and the 22-25 year old crowd. There are also some older people in my class, 29-31.

Out of how many? 2 out of lets say 100 students isn't very common. Just saying.

I know it's rare, the point is that it happens. There are also an unusual number of 21 year olds here, like maybe 10-15 people.

And here is my picture...

That's what I was saying. I suppose the age dispersion in medical school is somewhat like a bell curve? It increases to a certain point then it drops off. Now an 17 or 18 y/o in Med School is still possible but those cases are MUCH much rarer.
