How many schools did you apply to or are you applying to?

10 MD: 3 interviews, 3 waitlists
+ 3 DO: 3 interviews, 3 acceptances

By the way, you messed up on the numbers. There's overlap between numbers. If you applied to 10, 15, or 20 schools, you fall under more than one category.

my approach will be pretty much the opposite of what everyone tells me: if my MCAT is GOOD, then i will apply to *more* schools (to include a bunch of "reaches"), but if its BAD, then i'll just apply to state schools close to home. most people say bad score=tons of schools (with the hope of sneaking in by the laws of probability), but i don't see it that way.

we shall see in about one month (or a little less).

Applied at 4 TMDSAS schools - 4 interviews - matched (you only find out about 1 acceptance) ... applied at 1 AMCAS school - interview - accepted.

Applied to 12, only sent 2 secondaries back, one waitlist, one acceptance.

Only sent secondaries back to places I really wanted to go, otherwise it would have been too expensive. Stupid, some may say, but thank God it worked out!

I will apply to 20-25.
