Congratulations!!! I would love to go up to New York again if I got an invite. When did you schedule your interview for and do you have any knowledge of how long their interview season extends? Thanks!!!

Interesting story: I'm applying MD/PhD and got rejected from both MD and MD/PhD at Hopkins in November. Then I get a call on the 21st asking me to come interview. Moral of the story: Don't count yourself out even if you've been rejected.

Thanks!

They "do not anticipate interviewing beyond March 9, 2006," according to the email. The dates offered ranged from 2/7 - 3/2. I haven't scheduled it yet -- have to check a few scheduling and financing details before I make a decision (I'd pretty much given up so I wasn't exactly planning for this).
 
So two weeks ago as I was packing up the car to head back to school:
Mom: oh, you're forgetting your interview suit
Me: it's ok, i've finished all my interviews so i don't need it for anything
Mom: yes you do. you need it for your Hopkins interview

My first interview was mid feb last year and I got into two of my top choices. (They'd probably be 3 and 4 if I were to rank all programs from top to bottom by my interest. Though that might have changed if I had interviewed at 1 and 2.) If you get waitlisted, don't count yourself out.

i didn't email them anything; although i did call them last week to check on my status. i didn't know they emailed either, but i received an email this morning for interviews in march... :luck: to everyone...
