As I sit on my waiting lists and prepare my soul for another year of pharmcas, curious, what would your dream job be if you weren't going into pharmacy or healthcare, the job that your inner child wants. Mine is game/toy/candy store owner. That sounds so much cooler than pharmacy technician right now.

Lol, that would be an awesome job! I personally would like to be a writer, but I'm so critical of myself that I don't think I could ever do it.

Shine, that sounds really fun too, I wrote a lot of stuff and tried fiction the first time while waiting for a tech job XD I'm sure you could write well, don't quit pharmacy though lol

I would love to be a professional tennis player...if I was still in shape. Otherwise, I'd love to be a sports analyst. Who wouldn't want to get paid ridiculous amounts of money for making guesses at who will win basketball/football games with really no consequence but the occasional criticism?

Marine biologist

Ohhh My undergrad has a really good marine biology program! My BF wanted me to switch from Biology to Marine Biology so I could take care of his fishies! LOL

My "dream" job would first involve getting bit by a radioactive spider...

Ha...Like my Uncle Ben always told me...With great powers come great headaches and problems with women...:D I wouldn't want all that drama with Mary Jane, Gwen, and Felicia (You had to watch the 1994 cartoon series to understand).

Autobody Specialist. . . .expert at air brush and custom work. I'm a huge automobile enthusiast. My husbands a mechanic and its truly my other passion.

male stripper, so i can pay my way through medical school (j/k)

My dream job would be a "student of life." :D
Win the lotto, with a massive payout, like 200MM, and then after giving out a bunch to charities, friends and family, I'd travel the world.

A more realistic dream job would probably be along the lines of an NHL goaltender or be a brewmaster for Filler's microbrewery.

Architect. I loved to draw houses and buildings when i was a kid. Unfortunately, I can't draw (perhaps need more training). I can only draw chemical structures now

OMG I did that too! lol All this time I thought I was just weird ;)

LOL

Hey, marine biology is awesome. There is SO MUCH we don't know about the ocean. I actually applied to UCSD when I graduated from high school because I had a dream of working at one of the marine biology research centers (like Scripps), and even though I was accepted, I couldn't afford to go :( Maybe I will go back later in life after retirement (and after I have saved up some serious dinero) and just volunteer on one of the research vessels. I always imagined getting into the water with a Humpback whale like the people on the Discovery Channel. If there is ONE THING I would pay a ****load of money to do before I die, it would be that.

Doing chemistry for fun, reactions, inventing new stuff, investigate without bad paying jobs...

Once I wanted to be a professional soccer player back then in my home country...those were the days...

Or judge in New American Model...:D

Professional hockey player.......duh..............Or a member of Nitro Circus......Or a cigarette boat racer

Video Game Developer, that would be sick. Before pharmacy my plan was to go into something computer related, I loved programming but did not see much potential in that field.

Movie producer.

I would love to be a forester.

The reason is I love the outdoors, I could ride around in my Ford Super-duty all day, plus my Rotty would ride shotgun with me all the time. The problem with this job is you have to major in forestry, and your job options are really limited.

i actually had a talk with my friend yesterday about starting a store haha, it sounds so appealing to take that leap of faith but i know i won't

Hm, I guess if funding weren't an issue...

Write cliched fantasy novels.

Or own a luxury/performance automobile tuning shop/dealership. Get to build badass cars with other people's money. :D

I always said one of my dreams was to move to Vermont and buy a maple syrup farm.

Being a brewer/distiller does sounds fun as well.

Housewife

You and Passion4Sci can change your screen names to Passion4Cooking. lol

This question is so hard for me to answer. I think would want to do something involving sports as well. Maybe work for my college's athletic department. I think owning my own cheer/dance/gymnastic gym would be sweet too. Or working with my boyfriend on the boat/ocean everyday, but I'd probably get wrinkles sooner from being in the sun, and I think I'd be sick of working and living with the same person everyday of my life. You need some alone time. lol

Hmmmm. I'd like to be a special agent with the FBI dealing with significant crime, intelligence, or terrorism although I can't do that because I'm red-green color blind. Destroying Taliban or Al Qaeda with an Apache helicopter would be rewarding for me, but I can't do that either because I'm red-green color blind. Finally, I haven't got the background for it although being the national security director could be interesting.

edit: had some grammatical atrocities

the special agent with the FBI is something i would like to do too!! haha or a forensic anthropologist and work with the FBI like "Bones".

i want to be jackie chan and bruce lee. everyday is filled with high kicks, punches, and jumping off buildings. i like to be thrown around and slap with sticks, knives, you name it.

Pokemon trainer.......I'd trade my pharm D to be a pokemon professor. Well not really, I'd just get 2 doctorates.

My dream job WAS to be a music producer. Actually did some work with Ray J, and also Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs n' Harmony. Couldn't quite cut it in such a vicious industry though. I rather pursue a health career...an industry where most people value ethics.

Forensic anthropologist would be hella interesting!

Nooooo. Studying dead junk wouldn't be. Investigating and making arrests, which I do now at the state level (yawn!), regarding important federal offenses would be much much much better.

Hey, that's cool too though...my dad is a detective (he used to be a street cop). He always had/has great stories to share :) I would so like that job!

I would become a Medicare/Medicaid fraud examiner. I would question people until they wet themselves!
