    Im 40, had a good first career but have always wanted to purse medicine since I was a kid so went back to school at 37 for biological sciences and just finishing up , gonna take mcats. I have done volunteering in hospitals , shadowing, etc but for clinical I have no real experience yet ...

    Would being a diet aide improve my app? I'm lacking in clinical experience and being a diet aide seems a feasible way to make money and obtain experience interacting with patients. Does it count as clinical experience or would med schools not look at it like that?
