Hi all, I am currently a junior in undergrad on the premed track and I would appreciate some guidance on my path before I continue forward. I posted this in the r/premed forum but I wanted to get more insight. This pandemic has given me a lot of time to think, reflect, and soul search.
I took my MCAT in early April and just got my score back. I got a 491. I am really disappointed and shocked. For my AAMC FL 1,2,3 practice tests I was getting 505, 507, 510 respectively. I took these tests every week leading up to my test date. I also practiced with the section banks and qbank...
Have you ever felt proud because you thought you were very good at something (school in my case) only to meet people who are 10x better than you at that something and then become discouraged? Because I have and believe me, it sucks. I'm very competitive, especially when it comes to school...

I just wrapped up my sophomore year and decided to take my mcat on September 1st(not sure maybe September 9th) I'm getting through the content at about 2 chapters per day and I'll be done with the content by July 20-ish. I'm using the Kaplan books for content. Everytime I finish a chapter I go...

So I have been studying for some time now and am scheduled to take the big exam in January (about 3 weeks away!) I have been consistently studying and taking practice exams. I took another today (AAMC FL#1) and suddenly feel discouraged :(
My scores have been like this (all of...
Well, allow me to vent.....
So far 2016 has been quite sucky for me. Failed two of the most difficult classes of my VT program (something had to give, had 8 classes in total), Animal Medicine and Animal Surgery. Tuition is 5000$ and I must retake the classes in Spring 2017.
I'm an MS2.
I recently started seeing real patients in the hospital on my own for the first time. The goal is for me to get comfortable with doing h/p's independently as I get ready for 3rd year. The first couple were kinda bumpy but the people were fairly friendly. However, I was supposed to...
