Integrated IR/DR current PGY3 (R2) resident in Houston, TX. Interested in swapping for integrated, ESIR, or DR position in Chicago, IL. DM me if interested.
I am a medical student who is undecided on DR/IR. Based on advice from this forum, many mentors and current resident, I decided to apply DR because I enjoy reading and am about 50/50 on wanting to do IR. However, I made this choice with the intention to thoroughly explore IR in residency and...

I know I want to be an interventional radiologist; I am convinced it is everything I want out of a medical career. That being said, there is no way I am going to match to the new IR residency, nor a radiology (ESIR) residency. My gpa is too low, I go to LECOM, I doubt I will be able to publish...
