When you are looking at a patient's chart in an EMR, is the patient's history of vaccines pretty straightforward to you? Or do you need to spend 5 minutes or more calculating what vaccines they have received (ie to avoid counting duplicates, ect)?

it’s not so bad remembering vaccine rules if you’re only certified to give a few different types and only for adults 18+... but if you’re in a state where you can immunize babies and older, and you’re giving 10+ different types Of vaccines... it’s hard to remember all the different...
I've read that after a live/attenuated vaccine, when patient receives a blood transfusion or just immunoglobulins for some reason, vaccine must be repeated after few months, why is that?
sooo I have heard virtually nothing from my school about any vaccinations or physicals that need to be completed prior to orientation in 3 weeks. Does anyone have any idea what the standard protocol is for this?
