Hey guys, I'm retaking a 508 from 2018 and testing on 1/23. I'm about 3/4 done with UWorld and I'm starting to move onto AAMC. I never used Uworld before for my previous exam and I'm currently averaging just over 80% overall: 91% physics, 89% chem, 81% orgo, 81% behavioral sciences, 80% biochem, 81% biology, 72% CARS.

I'm going to start the AAMC FL's next week and continue to do one FL per week until the exam. I have also been doing the Berkeley Review for C/P and B/B and have been getting an average score of 130 for the FL practice passages in the back of those books. I've also been using JW for CARS and the 300 page document for P/S. But based on how I'm doing on Uworld, how do u guys feel about where I am at? Trying to get at least a 513 this time around. Any advice would be appreciated!

I found TBR to be a more realistic experience (types of questions, score, and utility of explanations and strategies) than UWorld (at least for C/P and B/B), so don't stress if UWorld is not where you want it to be. Trust the AAMC FLs you haven't done before to tell you where you are at.

I was getting between 129 and 132 on TBR phase 3s and got a 132 on C/P and B/B. You're fine!

Agreed. UWorld is good for practice, but don't be too worried about the scores. The most accurate way to gauge how you'll do on the real exam is through the AAMC FL exams. If you need more practice and haven't used the other AAMC materials, be sure to do them (especially the section banks).
