I knew that title would snatch attention! But truthfully, the 2006-2007 MSAR shows statistics with a 10 being the lowest MCAT score for which acceptance was received. Yeah, scary and motivating at the same time. Scary because I'm pretty sure a freshman with no scientific know-how whatsoever could bust a 10 on the test, and what medical shcool in their right mind would accept such a shameful score? Motivating because, while I think I got hammered a couple of weeks ago, I know for sure that my score is far away from 10 land (and unfortunately from 45 land too 😛 ) So now I've been prancing around trying to find other things to buffer my confidence level before red October hits. Anyone else find a piece of information or have an experience that motivated you to think positively about October scores?

Where in the MSAR did you see this?

Sounds ridiculous.

It's in the section with all the graphs and stuff. Chapter 5, pg. 27 to be specific. Look at pg. 28 too. Graph shows someone got accepted with less than a 2.25 GPA. I think I'm the only loser that looks at the figures and charts. What can I say, too much MCAT science passage studying. I'll never pass over a graph again without thoroughly analyzing it. Yeah, I'm motivated enough for now 😎
