I'm very nervous right now. I will be obtaining my bachelor of computer science (Math minor) this May. My current GPA is 3.87. I will take Org Chem 2, A&P 1 and Bio 2 at a community college this Fall after graduation because of some personal issues and then I will come back to the state uni for A&P 2, Physics 2 and Microbiology. So I will get 12 hrs from community college. My goal schools are TX schools and maybe some other schools in Cali, AZ, Utah. I plan to take DAT in December and try to make it 20+. Is it fine if I have 12 hr credits from community college? I'm just kinda anxious for my chance because I will spend a year on extra school before then apply to dental schools. I just love dentistry so much and would like to pursue it as a career instead of software developer. Thank you.

You already got in ? I know that some schools don't accept CC. Idk if TX schools are ones of those schools ? Do I need to explain the reason why I do CC instead of 4 yr uni in my PS ?
Thank you.

The ADEA official guide to dental schools has a profile on each school and a section about whether or not they accept CC credits and how many they accept. Some limit pre-requisite credits to 6, for example. As for your PS, no need to explain
