I have been thinking about becoming a certified MA during my gap year. I have seen some online programs that give you a certificate after just 6 weeks of courses, and some other programs that are 3-4 months. Has anyone tried any programs like this and been able to get a job as an MA? I just really would like to be certified in a shorter time frame if possible, because for the longer programs that are ~9 months, I would already be done with my gap year.

U should look around and find a MA job that doesnt require certification.

I did a MA course during a spring semester part-time and the biggest benefit was the internship component.

If I were you, look for an MA job where they train/no experience needed
