[dentalstuden245]

Admissions told us last year during interviews

They said that this year too after interviews.

[matchamilk]

Yes, all interviewed candidates will be on a waitlist. I'm just confused by the July 2023 notification form.. I thought they said during the presentation that they start notifying Dec 15?

[drbozo]

can someone explain wym by all interviewed candidates are on waitlist? like do they waitlist everyone and for dec 15 and moving forward, they accept candidates from that pool?

Yup, you're right. I understand it better now -- everyone who interviews goes on the waitlist, and they take you off when you're notified of acceptance. Acceptance notifications are sent starting Dec 15, but they want to know if you'll attend by July-August 2023 when they call you.

oh so we're not required to put a deposit until july/august? that's nice lol.

[predent2022]

No, you have about 2 weeks to pay your deposit after you have been formally accepted by USC. Everybody is placed on the waitlist until they close it out about a week after school starts

[ToothFairy500]

About how much percent of out of state applicants does USC accept after the interview?

[predent2022]

Has anybody gotten an October interview invite yet?

[wishicouldgetin]
