Hello everyone,

I'm going into my final year with a cgpa of around 3.45ish.

I wrote my mcat on September 23rd and I voided it. Didn't do enough practice tests.

I'm planning on taking the MCAT again on January 22nd and I need to make my semester light this year and make my second one heavy.

I was wondering how medical school will look at me if I take 3 courses in the first semester and 7 courses in the second semester.

Are you sure you don't want to retake it early summer? It sounds like you should focus on getting your GPA up, even if you do well on the MCAT then get hammered in a 7 course semester you'll be in poor shape. It's a lot easier to re-take the MCAT when you have more time then it is to compensate for poor grades because you structured your year around the MCAT. Maybe you know you can handle that, but it sounds risky to me.
