bulging veins in neck result from which of the following
a.pulmonary oedema
b.hemolytic anemia
c.systemic hypotension
d.congestive heart failure

when do we swallow most:
during sleeping time
guring day time

1st ans is d or a??..i would go for d....cause bulging veins...means cannon a waves[ jugular distension] is seen in complete heart block..or tricuspid regurgitation due to rt.ventricular dilatation...

2nd ans is:during daytime...am sure about this one...

central venous pressure is commonly elevated in patients with CHF and it is manifested by:
--->jugular venous distention....the the peak of the maximum venous pulsation within the deep jugular venous system is elevated more than 2 cm of vertical distence above the sternal angle when the patient lies in the bed with head
elevated to a 45degree angle.
--->positive kussmaul's sign.....jugular venous pressure increases with inspiration
--->hepatojugular reflex

2nd ans is during day time

what is that first of all, I havent heard that before

Fluorodeoxyuridine
Active Ingredients: Floxuridine
FLOXURIDINE is a type of chemotherapy for treating cancer. Floxuridine interferes with the growth of cancer cells. It is used to treat cancer that has spread to the liver. Generic floxuridine injections are available.
Floxuridine is for infusion into the liver, usually through a special pump that is placed under the skin in the stomach.

so i think it inhibits cancer...
can u plz tell me in which context u read it...

i've got another from the same web:

they gave this answ, but I dont understand,

#3 fluorodeoxyuridine inhibit...

they gave this answ:

"that was 5 flouro uracil. am not sure, guess it inhibits syntthesis of thymidilate"
