Hello all. I know that there are a lot of math majors/engineers out there and I was wondering what you thought of abstract vector spaces if you took it. I'm trying to use it to finish my minor, but I don't really know what to expect.
2nd Q: I only need 2 classes next semester, but I am taking 4 because I really like the subject in 2 of them. The ones I don't need are Biochem II and Medical Physics. Since I don't need them, does anyone think they would look bad if I P/F them since I am in the middle of interview season anyway?

Thanks!!

Seems like the medical schools wouldn't really know because you will probably know your fate before second semester grades come out. So either way they won't really know if you took it pass/fail, didn't get an A, or if you got an A.

If it were me, I would probably them for a grade. If you are only taking 4 classes taking 2 pass/fail seems like kind of an easy way out. I think taking 1 of the 2 pass/fail would seem more reasonable from an admissions standpoint. However, why not finish strong your last semester in school. It looks like you have done really well thus far in your academic career. Suck it up and Cowboy Up!

abstract vector spaces was interesting. I thought complex space integration was absolutely fascinating. But I think it depends on how your brain works. I thought non-euclidean geometries was waaaay cool. Lots of people think it's horrible.
