Hey guys,

I've done 4 weeks of outpatient/inpatient (mostly outpatient 1 on 1 w/ an attending) and have some space for an inpatient roatation before my audition rotations and am wondering if you guys think a 2 week inpatient rotation at a teaching hospital would be enough to "get my feet wet" and prepare me for my audition rotations. The majority of my roations were at a non-teaching hospital so I thought getting some teaching hospital experience would help before the audition rotations. So 2 weeks or 4?

Thanks,
B

My opinion is probably two. The thing that prepared me most for my audition rotation was medicine. It was the skills of being useful med student.
