So the need for more time did finally convinced me to postponed my exam by a week... so now I am taking it on 30th Aug....

I hope this will not be too late... what do you guys think...

You'll be fine, if the two weeks helps you get a better score then it's probably worth it. I'm assuming you're applying now so try to get some secondaries in before then so you can have them ready for the schools that allow a faxed DAT score.
