I have two weeks until I retake the MCAT. How should I use my time? I have studied all the content. I wanna do some practice problems, but should I just use my TPR materials or buy some practice tests online? And The first time I took the test, the verbal is what killed me. What is the best thing that I can do to raise my verbal score with two weeks til the test? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you completed all of your AAMC exams?

if so, do you have access to any other full lengths?

I personally think that TPR full length tests are garbage. They seem to be much more difficult than the AAMC tests, and it was actually starting to bother me when my TPR scores were consistently low.

I am taking mine n the 30th though, and I just purchased a few AAMC exams to go through and figure out what I need to practice.

It's weird though, I go through and the mistakes that I made are fairly obvious, and the content seems really straight forward, but I just don't see the mistakes at the time.

I've heard from many people that the real MCAT isn't any harder than most of the practice tests. Whether or not this is true, I don't know. But judging by how I hear the real MCAT described, TPR doesn't fit the description. It doesn't seem straight forward enough.

I got a 28 the first time around, 10 BS 11 PS and 7 Verbal... I took the semester-long TPR review course, then I took a few weeks of reviewing the material and taking practice tests before taking the actual test.

I neglected the TPR homework because of my heavy work/course load that semester, so that hurt me.

did you complete the big fat science workbook that came along with the course? that's the bulk of the homework.

also, can't you call TPR and ask them to extend access for another year? that have that guarantee program.

Oh shoot, I didn't know that! I should have done that a while ago, but I will see if I still can.

when did you take the course?

and how much of the hw did you do? the fat workbook is one of their most precious assets.

I took it Winter 2012. I did very little of the workbook. Should I just do the freestanding questions, or try to do passages?
