20 Days to learn Micro/take the Shel

So I have a ridiculously crap background in micro, and I have the shelf to take in 20 days. How do ya'll recommend that i learn micro/study for the shelf?

Micro Made Ridiculously simple! Hand's down the best book on Micro, and I am sure you will pass a shelf exam after reading it.

Microbiology MRS is a really good book.

what crazy curriculum has a person taking the micro shelf in mid july? isn't micro generally taught in the first semester of second year?

Others at my school used MMRS and thought it was pretty good. I found it to be too long with too much reading, so I used Rapid Review. I found that to be nice and concise and something you can read in a day or two. So if MMRS doesn't float your boat, then maybe you can check out RR.
