good luck everyone. :) •••••wow u did all that in this week!!!

Wow, I never thought those words would be coming out of my mouth when I started applying last year... but after much debate (and the receipt of the greatly anticipated projected fin. aid award letters) I will be sending in my withdrawals to UCLA and UCSF.

I'm sorry I wont have the opportunity to be classmates with some of you amazing SDNers!

I hope someone on their waitlists get happy news in the near future (sorry to hold onto those acceptances for so long, I would have made this move a lot sooner if I had the fin. aid info in front of me  )

Matthew?? Check is in the mail, right??  (in reference to your post on another thread :D )

:)

yo guys. if you just got into a second school today, May 13, does the May 15 deadline still hold. I think that i deserve at least two weeks to make this decision.

help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! i wont go to sleep without reassurance. :D

Actually, after May 15th, it is not uncommon for schools to demand a response in 24 or 48 hours (or so I've heard).

:)

•hey heddart, congrats on the columbia acceptance, mind if i ask if you did anything for your waitlist; letters, phone calls, etc?

if frantz ever communicated with you, did he ever allude to your chances?

thanks and congrats!•••••I wrote to him twice - once in late March, and once just last week (both handwritten notes, for what that's worth). I made it pretty clear that Columbia was my top choice and that, if accepted, I'd withdraw from all other places, etc etc. After my first letter, I was surprised to get a short, typed response from Frantz thanking me for writing, and telling me that, when the waitlist started moving, I would have "a very good" chance of getting accepted. Also, when I talked to him yesterday, he briefly referenced tha letter I wrote last week, so he seems to like lots of communication. Hope this helps!

I finally withdrew from Maryland today. :( Good luck to anyone waiting.

i withdrew from Howard today-- good luck to all.
