2006 Match statistics - did they disappear?

Hi all.

The match statistics from previous years used to be widely available; I used to check them out at scutwork.com. But now it seems like they are nowhere to be found.

Is there a way to find out the basics, like how many spots each program offered in the match, which programs didn't match etc? And of course the basic stuff like number of applicants, number of spots and so on.

The match results I am talking about are the ones given to scramblers but usually made public within a day or two. It's a huge document with info about every program in the country. Y'alll know what I am talking about.

Lou Binder, from my hospital, usually publishes these statistics yearly in Academic Emergency Medicine. Do a search for Binder, 2006, match.

The actual NRMP statistics I think they close down after a few days. I wouldn't bet the farm on those statistics since things can change drastically year to year.

They are prob still out there somewhere. For some reason they are tough to get a hold of.

Yeah, but something has changed. I'm kind of a dinosaur in that I matched (in IM) in 2005; at that time, the match statistics were everywhere. On scutwork, through the NRMP website etc.

Anyway.

I can't find the info on which programs have spots for scramble but I did find the document that has the basic data - like total applicants, total positions, average board scores, etc.

I know, but it was published July 2006 so this might be the best we've got.
