Anyway, March 20th? Damn. Will be a bad week for me. Major knee surgery and a VCU rejection after waiting 5 months. Kill me. (at least I'll have SDN and Halo to keep me company during my down times 🙁 )

Come on bro, I just know you'll be in the surgical center bragging to the docs about how you just got into VCU two days earlier. I have confidence in you dude! lol

Let's hope. My orthopedic surgeon really likes VCU. He's a Harvard grad and did his residency at Mayo. Talk about intimidating. When I mentioned VCU, he thought it was a fantastic school and should look forward to it. Let's just hope so. If I get in, I'll pound an extra loratab (sp?) just for you cf. 😀

Lectures are held in the mornings. Labs, groups sessions, preceptorships, etc. may be held in the afternoons. Really, the schedule isn't dramatically different from some other schools I visited...not that it isn't a good one.

It's still not bad, though. The block system kind of helps there, since you're taking one or two classes at a time so you can get two honest lectures out of an 8-12 schedule.

I was jsut there and was told be the tour guide that the first two hours of the day were spent in anat lecture (8-10) and that lab was (10-12)... He said that most people hung around throughout the afternoon to master the material... Seems short but hey, that what he said...

Don't know the countdown, but I'm freakin out because a whole bunch of in-staters just interviewed and loved the school. Seriously people, the school sucks! You don't want to go to VCU. (repeat 3 times)
It is going to be close, and even though I'm keepin the faith, my chances are slim to none.

I went to the final page and on page 30 the last posts were on 2/4. I also searched for it and couldn't find it. I might not be hitting the right keywords. But it's probably lost to internet oblivion until google refreshes the sdn forums for their search engine (or whatever it is they do). 😀

Feel free to start another. They're the only two schools I'm still considering.

I heard it was like a half tuition scholarship. Either way, it's a nice bonus for having to wait that long, and the doctor that funds it is cool just for that. 👍

Someone was saying that they're going to offer enough spots to fill the class, which would apparently mean sending out about 80 additional acceptances.
