anyone think they mite update the status pages before sending out the emails? i keep checkin it jus in case that happens..

I've been at a quiet level of stress all day...suddenly, Ive gone from quiet stress to completely freaking out. God I want this, it would be my first acceptance...and from my favorite school.

I am there with ya, for some reason my heart rate has jumped significantly in the last 20 minutes. This would be my first also!
 
i know exactly how you guys feel. im about to lose, it i want this offer so bad.
 
I'm looking for my first acceptance also...I loved the school! It had a wonderful feel.
 
Ha, suddenly everyone's name has the little green light by it, indicating they are online. Why do I think that we're all neurotically checking our email, the SDN forum, and the status page? :luck:

it would be awesome if instead of sending us an email saying to check the status page, it just said " hey X, you got in!!"

God yes it would be nice. Oh, in case you guys haven't looked at last years thread at all, the Dean posted a message on the login page saying that everything was done about 20-30 minutes before the decisions actually showed up. Ive been keeping an eye out to see if one appears all afternoon.
 
An e-mail like that would be nice. I keep thinking that we might jam their server checking status? 😀

It can't be more than 300 of us checking our email frantically considering the class size.
Server should be able to handle that load
 
Yeah, I know it shouldn't happen. I'm just paranoid....😱

And who knows, maybe it's more now. A lot of schools hand out acceptances in March, so hopefully some people were nice and dropped thier multiple acceptances already.

thanks!! no, i dont think MD decisions are out yet. the director of the program sent me an email. sit tight though, your acceptances are coming!!

1. oh, that's what the green dot means, 2. yeah, i was totally neurotic about checking my email and all the sudden one was there, and i had to blink a couple times, 3. this is my first and only acceptance thus far so i know how those of you waiting feel. there is lots of hope!!! :luck::luck::luck:

P.S. i REALLY appreciate everyone being so supportive and positive.

Im checking both, I dont know how fast emails are sent after the site updates our status.
 
its 5:12 now, hmm, ill check again in 5 minutes
 
i just wanted to wish everyone good luck and i hope we all get in..we would be such an awesome class together..hahah...act like this after every test..good luck guys
 
Even though I do not know any of you, I feel the stress you all are going through. I had declined my interview early in the season to VCU in the hope that someone else will get the interview as I got into my top choice school in TX. I wish you all the very best of luck and hope that everyone will get in from here 🙂
 
i think i remember checking my email and all the updates that I got from VCU have been at 6:04 eastern time. i know its a bizarre time, but i think thats when we'll hear something. goood luck everyone!!!!!!!!!


hopefully they don't pull the same thing that they did in january. they were supposed to update with admissions on the 15th but then at like 6:30pm there was a message on the status page saying they pushed it back 2 days.

Good Luck Guys!!!! Every update I recieved was at 6:04 EST as well.

That was just because Jan 15th was a holiday, shouldnt happen today.
 
actually i got one at 6:03, one at 6:04, and one at 6:05...

interesting... the earlier status updates are all exactly 3:03 PT and the last few have been 4:03.

no, they were still planning on sending out updates that day. someone called the friday before and they said they would still send them out monday the 15th eventhough it was a holiday. it's a computer that does it i think so its not like someone has to sit there and do it.

and then i guess when the day rolled around they realized they were behind and pushed it back.

butttttttt today is the issue at hand. gooood luck!!! i can't wait much longer. i need an answer already!!!
