I just found this thread. Had been wondering where all the people like me were hiding out, and here you all are!!!
I'm 35, married w/ one child, and am applying this year. I was slow getting my applications in, but am more or less done (except for non-rolling Columbia and NYU).
I'm a little bummed today, since I just got my first rejection notice from Georgetown, and we live in DC and are hoping not to move. I don't know what I said that they didn't like - I have a 37 MCAT and 3.95 Post-bacc GPA (although my undergrad ave. was much lower - around 3.2) and two years of volunteer experience. They didn't even bother to interview me. 🙁
Are any of you following up with schools that rejected you to find out what their issue was?
🙁 Sad day for me, but sounds like a good day for some others! 🙂
