Do any of the DO schools have a secondary application with no charge.....or any DO schools that dont REQUIRE a secondary?

First question: No, unless you can get a waiver.

Second question: I think NYCOM doesn't require a secondary. Don't know about others.

Third question: What's a predent doing here?

Get your app in as soon as possible. Trust me, it feels good to be in the first interview group at a few schools and accepted to three by the end of October.

I am new to this and I just saw your post and you said you are a 'DO' at heart. I am guessing u'd be better than I am in answering a question like this: 'why do u want to become an osteopathic physician?' I have ideas, but I do not feel like they are strong and solid enough to get me an interview.

You're going to have to be able to answer that question a lot, both for the schools as well as for yourself. If you genuinely feel that you cannot answer that question, perhaps you should do more research into the profession and why it fits your idea of medicine.

That's a very specific question. The problem with me is, I don't have any experience working with the underprivileged. How should I approach this prompt?
