when did you get the UVM confirmation / UVM secondary invite?

I didn't get either!
 
My application was verified last Wednesday and I applied only to UNMC early decision. I have yet to hear anything from them yet...is this normal?? I am starting to get a little worried, but maybe it takes 2+ weeks to send secondaries out for EDP? Deadline for early decision program isn't till Aug. 1st anyway. Thanks for the help!
 
Just a heads-up for those out there applying to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. I just received an invite to their online secondary application, and the following appeared on the cover page:

"Application Processing Fee
In compliance with a decision by the Wisconsin State Legislature, the application fee will increase from $45 to $56 as of 12:01 a.m. CDT, September 1, 2008.
If you submit your application on or after September 1, 2008 you will be charged the $56 application fee. "

Their deadline for secondary applications is December 1, but this might be a bit of incentive to get this secondaries in early (or at least before Sept 1)... every dollar counts in this process...
 
any info on duke and boston u?

also, since Wayne State U screens...does anyone know when they start sending secondaries?

The Duke website looks brand new. Perhaps they will release their secondary app soon? No word from Tufts or Harvard yet. Good luck to all.
 
I got Mayo's secondary last night at like 2:37 am

It was just a payment of 85 dollars.

Anyone else get the EVMS secondary... I got it yesterday and it's just been there

Wow, nice that you finished all of the ones you got! I've got a really hefty backlog right now. More than I can count on my fingers, and all with school-specific essays. Best of luck with the rest of them!:luck:
 
Hey yall, I saw on Aecoms website that their secondary will be available on July 16th.

They also raised their price to 115 dollars.

Boston U sends out their secondaries without screening, so I think everyone gets it, it's just a matter of when you get the email. My AMCAS isn't verified yet, but I got the BU secondary about 10 days after I submitted AMCAS. The secondary has only 2 essays, both optional, and the questions are at the beginning of this thread. Costs $100.

I finished a bunch really quickly (half).. and now I'm getting tired
I want to take a break, but I can't
 
is 5 days a bad turnaround in general? for Georgetown? Cuz that's what I'm looking at cuz I got an extended family function for the past and future couple days... >.<

i'm trying to keep a turnaround time of about 2 weeks, but it's getting harder and harder.

Keep working everyone! The faster we get these done, the faster we return to being only marginally neurotic SDNers!👍

I think it's officially "mid-July", so I'm crossing my fingers for Duke, UCLA, and UCSD secondaries this week. 👍

I think UCSF and Vandy will be a little bit later, and I haven't called Stanford or Harvard to ask for an estimate yet.
 
Duke's website says they will begin reviewing apps on July 15th... so that would suggest that we should get the app by the 15th.

From browsing the threads from last year, I believe Stanford is not out till early to mid August...

I emailed Harvard yesterday about an estimate.

VCU updated on the fourth. All it takes is one AdCom working at home who has the authority to make updates/send emails/post secondaries. Not likely, but it could happen.
 
for the question: list your courses for the 2008-2009 academic year, are you listing spring courses (approximating) b/c im not exactly sure what i'll be taking the 2nd semester

I only did fall. I don't think you need to list spring courses unless you are planning on taking a pre-req in the spring.
 
Toledo's secondary is available online. I haven't received an e-mail telling me to fill it out, but it is there for 2009 applicants. Exactly the same as last years...
