Hey all,

My question is... is it a common practice for students to sign up for two MCAT exam dates?

My plan is to sign up for a June/July test date and sign up for another one in August (in case I do poorly). I will be applying at the same time.

Another question is... I want to apply as early as possible. I know I can start my primaries around June. I want to get my secondaries as early as possible. In that case, what is the optimal time to take the MCATs so that my application would be complete by the end of August/mid September?

Thanks!

The system will only allow you to sign up for one test date at a time. After you take that test, it will not let you re-register for about 2 days, at which time you can register for one additional test date. Repeat if necessary (hopefully not).

To OP:

Study hard, stay focused and only plan on taking this test ONCE! Trust me...you do not want to take this exam more than one time. I concur with the poster above-April/May is ideal.
