Same here! I don't understand what they're waiting for.... Any thoughts on this?

Yeah I'm still waiting, and I think some other people on here are too.
 
I am still waiting also, submitted/verified mid/end July
Has anyone called yet?
 
What are the secondary questions please?
What is the character/word limit for the secondary questions?

Still no secondary here either. I think I'm going to call on Wednesday if I don't get it by then (that will be 4 weeks since I was verified).

It took 6 wks+ for me to get it. I think if anyone should contact them, it should be the people who were verified back in July. I wouldn't worry yet if you didn't submit an application until August or later
 
STILL havent gotten the secondary...almost makes me not want to do it when it comes.

well they do make up for it by making it a 5 second secondary (well it probably takes more like 2 minutes to fill out)
 
Wheee, on hold. On the bright side, that's one less flight to pay for...good luck everyone else!

Finally got and submitted the secondary!

I just paid, but the website says that I still haven't. Should I wait a while or call to make sure everything is ok?
 
Woohoo! Finally got the secondary this morning.
 
I just decided to randomly check my status page, and I rec'd an invite (but no email!). I don't know when I was complete b/c from the status page, it was never clear to me. However, I submitted on 8/25.
 
nice surprise before i head to sleep...invite via status page!
 
Interview invite today! First one. 👍 Scheduled for 10/27. Complete first week of September.

Yeah I didnt even realize my drexel application was complete, and I went on the site to check and I had an interview invite. Completely random. Does anyone know if Drexel is rolling admissions?

Just called, they are indeed rolling. Not sure if I'm going to attend this interview.. i dont know a lot about the school

Yeah, it's a really expensive school. But I've never been to Philly and I'll take what I can get.
 
Got the interview via status page, but does anyone know where I go to schedule it? Or do I have to wait for the email? Thanks!

you can schedule it before the email...when u get the interview something should pop up saying scheudle interview or something like that. I just checked this morning and the only dates available are in nov...kinda late but w/e. They interview a TON of applicants so well see. I think the msar said something like 1300 people are interviewed for like 220 spots...granted they probably have to accept 500+ to fill that class or so but still...doesnt seem like great odds 🙁. Still excited though 🙂. One of my friends graduated from drexel he raves about it

Finally submitted and complete after waiting on that app forever? How long did you have to wait for interview invites?
 
How far is Drexel from the airport? and what is the best way to get there from the airport? I got an interview invite but still have not received the email. How log does it take before you get the email? Thanks!

Here's a Google Map with directions I did. Here is by public transit.

I think that email is mythical. The only email I got was one confirming my appointment day. But there was no additional email telling me how to get to Drexel or what to expect on interview day.

"We have tried to provide you with all you need to know about our campus, getting here, and staying in Philadelphia." --> um, no.

haha ya i know the same thing happened to me. just email admissions or even better call Kareem in the admissions office (i think his name is at the bottom of the email sent confirming your appt). He is super nice over the phone and they will forward this to you.
I just emailed them back and said I didn't receive it, but found my invite via a status check.
They forwarded it to me shortly.
 
Thanks so much for the info! So, the best way to get to the campus is by train? Do they have a student host program?
 
On the secondary where it asks for medically related volunteer work do you guys think I should add physician shadowing?
 
complete 8/28 interview invite 9/15! scheduled it in november cause of grad classes.

SOOO STOKED! my first med school interview after getting 0 last application cycle.

Everyone keep your hopes up!
 
congrats herewego! i heard that we have to write an essay at the interview. is this really true?
 
How long did it take you to receive the secondary from Dexel? I added Drexel to my application about 2 weeks ago and took my MCAT last week. I don't know if I have not received a secondary because my scores are not in yet.

I vaguely remember something about what you are doing for year until june? I'm not sure if it was drexel, but I do remember drexel was fairly straightforward and quick. I don't remember any real essay questions.

I submitted/verified AMCAS mid/late July and just got my secondary this morning.
It took forever.
Be patient. 😉
