Drexel does not cherry-pick high stats applicants. I know of someone with interviews at four top 25 schools already who was just put on hold by Drexel. Perhaps they sense that those types of applicants are unlikely to matriculate there and look at other factors. All schools are looking for a certain "fit". For most applicants, the criteria they use remain a mystery.
 
Submitted my secondary last night at 9:30 after I finally received it, and was complete today by 4:00. That is what I call fast..
 
Complete on 8/31! Hoping for interview invite.

Elijah,

you were the one who told me how to let them know that I have FAP. I just checked today and I was complete. Beside the application fee, it said that I have FAP. I was complete on 8/31.
 
Hey guys I have a problem, I paid the $75 but it's not showing up on my application page even though I paid about a week ago. Does anyone know who I should contact about this? It shows I paid on my credit card but I got no confirmation.

Yea definitely call the office. You should have received an automatic email the moment the payment went through the website.

if you don't mind sharing, what was the wait time between when you sent the email and when it was logged into your account?

Any insight onto what this interview day essay is?
Any reapps or current M1's that can weigh in on this?

From what I've heard, there are multiple essay topics that you may be given. Don't stress over it. You'll have plenty of time to think about it and write it when you're there.
 
I had finalized and submitted my secondary as of 8/24 but my status page only showed payment/LoR received. I called just now and they were awesome, right over the phone told me it had been received and it was just a mistake and changed my status to complete, maybe now i'll get some interview love...
 
Checked online and got message that they will complete a second review. I assume this means I am on hold? This doesn't make much sense because I got interviews at Penn and Jefferson. 😕

i think everyone can agree that very little of this entire process makes much sense. Congrats on the interviews you have though, some people are still waiting for their first invite.

I received secondary 8/27. Submitted 8/27. Sent FAP email 8/27. The payment posted as FAP was on 8/31

I picked that date too. I wonder how many people they interview on each date..

I've applied to 15 schools so far, COMPLETE. Haven't even received the secondary here.
 
So I am behind- still filling out really simple secondary...


My question is did most of you who got invites/know what you are doing include activities and extracurriculars from high school? My advisor said that I COULD but i still dont know if I should..:idea:


There are clubs I was JUST in in high school that are impressive and I won awards but didn't continue in college. Can I add those to my Drexel secondary? They are not on AMCAS.

if i get an interview and they have some question like "have you ever been really mad at someone" or " whats a situation in which youve been really nervous" i would say applying to drexel and wating for my secondary

why does it take so long? they dont even screen

You said it yourself: they don't screen. So don't worry about it.
 
AMCAS verified 8/5 ..... no secondary yet ..... oing?
 
I was verified in July and still no secondary. Anyone try calling them?

It's been over 3 months since I was verified and still no secondary...and yes they do get annoyed when you call.
 
I guess they send em out in batches. I applied 8/24ish and got mine today.
 
I just added this school today (all my others are submitted).. I got nervous and figured 32 schools wouldn't be enough. Neurotic? Yes.

I guess I'll just have to wait awhile before I even get it.. but that's ok I suppose.
