Interesting that we haven't heard any Georgia acceptances yet..I mean it is like a 6 hour drive from da ATL. They admit plenty, like 5 of the students I met during my interview day were from Georgia.

Lol, I'm pretty sure he is in my class at school. He already withdrew from everywhere to go to Duke btw. Great call, especially if ur gonna be there 8 years and u want the wife to be happy.
Maybe just seven year, considering that there is 1 LESS year of bacis science @ Duke. BTW, it is tempted to go for/change to MSTP if you guys end up going to Duke, since you have one extra year(3rd) to do research.
I can't believe this garbage. My mailman didn't show up today. Isn't mail supposed to be sent every day?!

hmm lets just wait, i mean they did say they are sending some today, and someone who interviewed pretty late (1/25) got in, i think there were just 2 weeks left after that, so im sure its not like they are sending the earlier interviewees earlier, maybe just the top top ones, cuz if u look, most of them have highhhhh stats, not that duke is all about numbers...ugh i said id delete this, lol ok i have addiction problems...
he's saying maybe you didnt get anything in the mail, so nothing else was in there too, not just that they forgot ur house today, but lets hope they forgot your house today...
A guy I know here in Chapel Hill got a letter on Saturday. Completely ruined my night because I was hoping for a letter, an since he got one I figured my chances were shot.

Ha, that actually makes sense. Although, I have been lying in wait for the mailman like a dog, so I don't think I missed him.
I think the mailman might have realized that if he stopped showing up for work for a week, just about no one would notice.
Well....NY is slow with everything...hopefully. I wonder if upstate mail travels through NYC area first...seems logical considering the population differences.

At the school in mid-November. I wouldn't imagine it would make a difference, but who knows. Hoping for some big mail for you tomorrow!

This so nerve wracking...I saw the Pacific Northwest acceptance and got really nervous, because that's where I am! Congrats Bigman. Still stuck at home though, with all my mail at school, so no idea if I am in or not. There could be a nice fat envelope in the school mailroom, and there might not.

I'm rooting for all you guys who haven't heard back yet. I was in the exact same boat 24 hours ago so believe me when I say I know how you feel. I interviewed on the Duke campus in mid-October and did not feel as though I interviewed well.

I interviewed in October too, and thought I did awful. There was a bunch of problems with my plane and stuff so I arrived totally exhausted. Hopefully the rest of my app balanced my tiredness.
sorry. i wonder how many acceptances they sent out in the batch today. oh god im hoping they sent half on friday, half today. highly unlikely though. who knows.
the same thing happened to me. i was delayed for 10 hours getting into raleigh durham and got to my student host's place at like 2 AM. then i was up at 6:30 to get ready for the interview 😴

hmm, any thoughts on a job for next year? i need to look now. 10 interviews, 9 waitslists/rejections i bet, not hoping for the last one...and i find out about that one in april, so if it's a no go, id need to have looked for a job before then...
