I interviewed October 9th, should I give up hope?? Does anyone know how many offers they have given?
 
So i'm interviewing here tomorrow, and actually did not hear about the interview until this Thursday. Faith is awesome btw. Any words of wisdom? This is the first school I will be interviewing at that has a panel interview. How does that work?

you're interviewing on a sunday? crazy!

the panel interview has 2 faculty and 1 student interviewing 3 students at the same time. they give you all the same questions (more or less) and then ask you to respond one at a time. it's just like a regular interview, except sometimes you get more time to think of your response and you try not to repeat exactly what someone else said

Good luck, the 3v3 interview is one of the better interviews I have done during this process, not only do you get to hear about everyone else but it is more of a group conversation.
 
Does anyone know if all invites are out yet? I'm assuming so, since they said they stop interviewing at the end of the month 🙁

i'm gonna guess/hope (lol) that this week will be the last week. when i called them two weeks ago, they said they interview through february. when i asked when they give out their last interview invites, i was told that she was not sure and neither was the adcom.
 
Has anyone filled out the financial aid/CSS profile that they encouraged us to fill out? I haven't been accepted yet, and I'm not sure if I should the spend $25 on it...any opinions?
 
So, if I'm not mistaken, acceptance packets are mailed out from Emory either today or tomorrow. Anyone who's interviewed recently have similar info?
 
I just called them, and they said today is the last week of interview invitations, but invitations will only be sent in the event of cancellations. So if anyone's planning on canceling their interview, please do so this case, otherwise no one will be filling that spot.
 
Congrats, dp1! When did you interview? I interviewed mid-January and LOVED Emory. Now I am dying to get home so I can check my mail!
 
Congrats! I am very anxious now as well- interviewed at the end of January.

Rejected via. email today pre-interview. Complete 9/18. Probably wouldn't have attended anyway. Congrats to all that were accepted!
 
Pre-interview axe here as well. Bummed I didn't have a chance to interview, but hope things work out well for those who were admitted.
 
Finally got my rejection. It was bound to happen, considering there are only 2 days left in Feb. Oh well.

I received the packet yesterday (in Michigan). Date on the letter was 2/22.

Congrats Anacapa! I'm still sitting, waiting, and hoping that somehow the packet is going through the postal service slower than I'd like it to.
 
so im guessing i didnt get in this batch because my mailing address is in atlanta and i got nothing yet, including today..

*sigh*.
 
Good luck to everyone that is still waiting to hear back. For those of you who have been accepted and are probably going, have you all done the collegeboard.org profile? It is ridiculously long, it took me a good couple of hours to fill it out. I do not look forward to doing this every year.

i just tried filling it out now. that is one beast of a profile; my parents dont even know the numbers to put in themselves. plus the stupid thing logged me out randomly and i had to reenter everything. to anyone still filling it out: MAKE SURE YOU SAVE CONSTANTLY
 
Did anyone who interviewed in the week of February 8th or later get an acceptance during this past round of acceptances?
 
Does anyone know what additional forms you need to send in? Like copies of tax returns? The profile says to send stuff for you and your parents, but I don't remember them saying anything about it on the interview day (I totally may have missed something though). Thanks!

I sent my tax returns, my parents returns and my parents business returns. To me this seems a bit extensive but oh well....

I know Emory had two more rounds of mailings after the Feb 22nd date. Does anyone know when those are?

I believe one of them is march 13th.....nevermind, march 9th it is...

For those who are anxiously awaiting news to vicariously live through, the Emory admissions committee meets approx once a month and mails out acceptance letters on the following dates:

10/27
11/24
12/22
2/2
2/23
3/9
 
3/9 isn't far away at all!!! Wow, quick turnaround between the 23rd and the 9th.
 
Don't give up hope if you interviewed early but still haven't heard back, y'all! I know I almost had. I got in with the last (2/23) batch and interviewed on the first day in September.
 
Anyone know if they've started giving out post-interview rejections?

Congrats, that's amazing! Did you do anything between the interview and now that might have led to your acceptance, such as sending letters of interest/intent/update, etc.?
 
No, I did not send an update or LOI and I'm not from GA.
 
are you from georgia?
 
I've heard that Emory only trickles acceptances until the mid-March mailing... but I've seen a ton of acceptees posting. Is what I've heard just a rumor?
